Make Your Photography Pop Out The Frame

  1. Open Photoshop
  2. Open jumper.jpg (Download Image below)
  3. Press CTRL + A to select all
  4. Press CTRL + C to copy to clipboard
  5. Close jumper.jpg
  6. Create a new document, 400px Width, 500px Height, 72dpi Resolution, white background
  7. Press CTRL + V to paste from the clipboard
  8. Press CTRL + T to free transform
  9. Click the Maintain Aspect Ratio chain
  10. Enter 50% in the Set Horizontal Scale field
  11. Enter X value to 85px
  12. Enter Y value to 135px
  13. Press Enter twice
  14. Select the Single Column Marqeue Tool from the toolbar
  15. Press F8 to view Info tab
  16. Press CTRL + K to open preferences
  17. Press CTRL + 5 to goto Units and Rulers
  18. Click and drag the Single Column Marqeue Tool until the X value is 81px
  19. Release the mouse button
  20. Press CTRL + C to copy to clipboard
  21. Press CTRL + Shift + N to create a new layer, Press Enter
  22. Press CTRL + V to paste from the clipboard
  23. The new layer should be selected
  24. Press CTRL + T to free transform
  25. Enter 45000% in the Set Horizontal Scale field
  26. Enter X value 305px
  27. Enter Y value 136px
  28. Press Enter twice
  29. Move Layer 2 below Layer 1
  30. Select the Magic Eraser Tool
  31. Select Layer 1
  32. Click the right side of the picture on the layer to remove the white space
  33. Select Layer 2
  34. Expand the window's width to give you room to work on the warp
  35. Press CTRL + T to free transform
  36. Click Edit in the menu bar, Click Transform, Click Warp
  37. Move bottom right handle labeled 1 to the spot labeled 2. The Info window should show 393 for the W (Width) value.
  38. Move the next five handles as shown in labels 2 - 6. Sorry, you just have to wing it instead of using values. If it looks a little inaccurate, it's because I had to redo it each time to do a screenshot.
  39. Press Enter twice
